What's New in v4.0
v4.0 represents a comprehensive consolidation of QXONI's policy framework with major clarifications on AI processing, international data transfer provisions, and organizational naming standardization.
1. Organization Naming Standardization
All organizational references unified to "QXONI int."
Previously inconsistent terms like "QXONI Association", "QXONI e.V.", and "r.a." have been standardized across all 110 sections. This includes:
- Legal entity descriptions in § 02
- Copyright notices and footer attributions
- Board member and governance references
- Service provider agreements and data responsibility declarations
2. AI Services & Algorithm Transparency
Expanded AI chapter with ethical guidelines and training consent frameworks
- § 07: AI Services — enhanced data flow documentation
- § 52–60: New sections on algorithmic transparency, bias detection, and ethical deployment standards
- AI Training Consent: Explicit opt-in required; never bundled with general Terms acceptance
- Model Disclosure: Users can request information on which AI systems process their data
3. International Data Transfer Security
Updated Data Protection Framework & Standard Contractual Clauses
- § 42–43: Infrastructure and server location transparency enhanced
- SCCs Updated: Latest EU Standard Contractual Clauses for non-EEA transfers
- Privacy Framework: EU-US Data Privacy Framework compliance documented
- Swiss Law: revFADP compliance maintained for all Swiss-resident data
4. Verification Portal URL Change
Email verification centralized to QXONI.com/center
All references to check.qxoni.com replaced with unified verification portal at QXONI.com/center
This consolidation improves security and user experience by centralizing all verification requests through a single, monitored endpoint.
5. Policy Update Tracker
New dedicated Updates page launched
Users can now track the complete history of policy changes, versions, and revisions through the new Policy Updates page, providing full transparency on policy evolution.
